speed, size, skill and a willingness to go to the net...im sold. All things my team needs and im not worried about the Russian factor even if he takes two years to come over. It looks like it could be well worth the wait. Although if he gets drafted by us he probably makes the roster. With that said no clue how we move up in the draft do not really have anything to offer. Can't trade Henrique and im almost positive he's about the only guy anyone would want.

If that's the case, then...

The Preds have honestly never had a player like Valeri Nichushkin. A monster winger who can are over games with strength, skating, and finesse. The Preds have basically made their living off of Big strong defensemen and speedy middle to smaller sized forwards..

More seriously, I hope the Flyers don't give anything even remotely "Lindrosian" to get this kid. That said, part of the fun of being a Flyers fan is watching them wheel and deal and make moves you never saw coming, and this year is shaping up to be an interesting one.

He looks like there is something there. I find it interesting that no one is making the obvious ... Ovechkin comparison.

Some of what I saw in those highlights reminds me more of Nikokay Zherdev...the speed with the puck and that sweeping outside to inside move....I didn't see the bull in a china shop that was Lindros at that age. Also, he will have to deal with a smaller rink so he wont have the room to make that wide cut...but he does look good. Would like to see more of him on a North American rink against his peers...

I too hope that the Flyers don't go overboard trying to land a pick that could get this kid, that said, it could open up some room in the forward logjam...and give Danny B a dignified out. If he accepted a trade to one of the teams ...his cap hit is much higher than his actual salary the remaining two years on his contract, he would be an attractive veteran and help a team that needs to get to the cap floor. If any of the teams in the top five needed that...

and imo it won't matter if a team trades into the #4 or #5, Tampa will be taking him 3rd. If a team wants to make sure they get him, they'll have to trade for Tampa's pick.

How come? If we move up without giving nhl ready talent up, won't hurt us. I say move up but for barkov.

Also the Eklund curse has struck. None of said teams are moving up!
